It took a while to get our 2 drinks (a brewed tea and a coffee latte with 3 mini donuts) as several others who came after us were served first- to include a family of 5 with 7 drinks, 12 donuts, and 2 churros. Once our drinks came out, the tea was not the tea we ordered. There is no parking for the cafe or nearby the cafe and the residents will get very angry on the street if you street park in front of their house. The donuts were very oily but served hot so that was nice. It's a cool place to take a picture or two for Instagram but I wouldn't go back and I really wouldn't advise my friends to travel to see it.
Dropped by this place for a quick coffee, but ended up staying there for 2.5 hours enjoying and devouring the heavenly donuts, then enamoured by the hand-built home, decor, ambiance and ofc not to mention the Jewelry! Everything is crafted with meticulous detail and tremendous warmth and care. Walked out with heartfelt conversations, the owner Koijé showing us pictures of interior home designs, photos by his wife Michelle and modified and gifted me a ring as parting Japanese hospitality and charm, along with on the house donut for our friend. This place is off the charts!! They only open from 12-5 pm, so make sure you don’t “truly” miss out!
It’s a MUST go! I had the three donuts and brown sugar latte. The donuts are so soft, moist and chewy inside while crispy outside! The best donut I had!
Don’t let the photos fool you, I thought this was a cafe I could sit at and enjoy my coffee. This is someone’s house so you can’t stay. It’s a GORGEOUS house, super cool to see & their coffee was good, but their CHURROS… OMG AMAZING!
The owners are also very sweet. Definitely come by if you’re in the area!!♥️
