What a discovery. The road was covered by snow and we had no hope to get anything more decent than some gas pump food for winter lunch. Then it was this. We spotted some cars in the parking of Karčiama, which meant it was open! Clearly they had soup! Every place in Lithuania has soup. You can not survive winter here without it. Yepp. The choice was (you wont believe it) sorrel (! I have no idea how to source sorrel in winter) and chilly con carne. We went for the latter taken there was snow outside and whole day of adventure. It was excellent. Not sure cardamon added more taste or took it away, but apart of this it was warming, hearty, true. Took two more with us. Lovely service, nice clients, cosy space. A TV showing annimal planet or so. Very unexpected and totaly awesome! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
