I am a bit of a fuss pot. I hate celery, seafood and coriander. It was in every option except steak 🥩. I ended up with chicken stir fry, after them gave everyone the wrong plates. Not much Chicken and flavourless, tons of noddles and not much else. Felt like 2min noodles from the microwave with some old chicken chucked on top. I feel like they were in a hurry to take our order, they brought mains out while family were still eating entrees, they were taking plates away while we were eating as well which I don’t like. Let us enjoy our meal and family time. We were their celebrating my aunties 72nd birthday and the whole experience felt rushed and overwhelming. Prices are as expected for this economy. Saigon Palmerston North. Fresh lovely food. For entree we had the platter. The wontons were particularly lovely. For the mains we had the lamb shank and the crispy chicken vietnamese salad delightful and fresh. We even tried some cocktails (fluffy duck and pina colada) and they were yummy too. The food used to be great and we have supported them since they were a food truck, then Princess St but unfortunately the 3 mains and 2 entrees were bland, lacking in anything remotely vietnamese and no condiments. Mains were $28-30 and quite frankly were worth half that. Will not be going again. Very underwhelming. No tap beer available in Tiger and Saigon lager. Lovely acoustic style Vietnamese Restaurant very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar collection. However, I find food wise doesn't taste very traditional Vietnamese. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

The service is so slow, coming from the upfront staff. Slow drinks, watching other tables sit down wait 20minutes and walk out. Drinks are taking about 15 to 25 mins.... its just a bit of a hot mess Foods ok, fries were a little weird but ok... steak felt like it had been tenderized with a mallet too much. This Resturant publicly posted my phone number as there phone number. I have been harassed with calls for 2 weeks about a business I have nothing to do with. I called them to get this sorted and they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. They will not remove the phone number. Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly great service, the waiter was very pleasant and informative. The food was fantastic and there were no complaints from me. Ordered wontons they we're burnt on the outside and under done on the inside $75 pp the two of us left almost both our whole mains after it took about half an hr for them to come out there was only us and 1 other couple.
