We came to the rooftop to relax from the heat and tiredness of sightseeing. We were actually in the mood for spontaneous wine tasting. The rooftop restaurant/bar did not offer wine tasting so we creatively did our own by ordering different wines in small bottles. 😍 (+) +lovely views of Old Town +we had the entire rooftop to ourselves +waitress was very attentive and helpful +very centrally located 😩 {~} -None Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The view from the rooftop is really nice and the ambience is cozy. We had live saxophone music which was great. The staff is super helpful and the feta is amazing. High rating is mainly because of the nice staff, food was ok and definitely great for Montenegro standard. We were with 5 and shared 3 starters which was great because the size was pretty big and we could barely finish our 5 mains. I never leave reviews but this diamond in the rough is worth the time. In a sea of mediocre restaurants, Hippocampus stands heads and shoulders above the rest. I eat alot of nice food. I seek it out, always. This is hands down the best meal I've had in Europe. In-season fresh ingredients, that havent been overworked is their approach. I didn't take any photos of our main dishes; the food was too good for me to care. The ambiance, impeccable. The view, perfection. But the one element that brings this whole experience together is the service. Ranco (sp) was our server and he presents a 5-star professionalism, care and concern for his guests. Absolutely every aspect of our experience was beyond words. Thank you guys for such a superior product. A true GEM of Europe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing rooftop restaurant, we had the Montonegrian breakfast - meats, cheeses, tomatoes and pastries with coffee and choice of eggs. Great views of the mountains and rooftops and amazing service!

Great Restaurant! Ate here yesterday, little bit hard to find but worth it (inside the hotel first and than the elevator to the 4th floor). Food and wine is incredible, prices are good, only the wine is a little pricey. Furthermore great experience and very helpful waiter. I especially recommend lamb braised in milk which is a traditional Montenegrin dish, we really enjoyed. Plus, the waitress was so kind Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Excellent restaurant, the best we tried in Kotor actually. The dishes were excellent, the cocktails were amazing and originals, the service was perfect while the atmosphere in the evening is magic with a view on the mountains. Definitely a place to visit!
