We stopped in for breakfast on our way from Wanaka to Blenheim. Only downer was the cold centre in the poached eggs. We were travelling so appreciated the fast service. Staff member taking the order was thorough and easy to understand. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict

Yummy food! Coffee good. The soup of the day is very good! Friendly staff :-). Very good and happy stop on the way for us! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had a delicious breakfast, and their pot of tea was just how I liked it, had clour and flavor, and hot water to have a couple of cups fully. Good selection of food and staff were friendly with a smile. Great value for money. This Robert Harris is what they all should be operated like. Even after covid they have maintained a good standard. They get very busy at peak times, seating can be scarce. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Been here a few times, 2 items on menu say they can do GF and DF, go up to order and that is not the case. We feel like a nuisance. No DF spread for our toast either. Otherwise it's a lovely cafe. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped in here with my kids on the way south. Eldest had great pancakes. The rest of us had blitzed (scrambled?!) eggs swimming in water without the ordered sourdough. Coffee was pretty good. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Nice coffee. Double shot standard. Yummy food. I ordered a chicken cranberry quiche $9.5 and a lemon slice...both delicious. Cranberry served as source on the side and slice came with cream. Staff is friendly and competent. Food is a bit more expensive than the average price.

Served by a very short lady with dark glasses and dark hair possibly a midget she shouldn’t be dealing with customers she is grumpy, rude and doesn’t even smile. Food was ok but the poached eggs were only just poached as the clear egg white was still runny. $5.90 for a 300ml Pepsi that is $2.25 retail is to much considering they will be buying them cheaper direct from Pepsi, 38% mark up. Profit isn’t a dirty word but theft is. Coffee is watery and Luke warm, food prices were fair and atmosphere was average. Even the Blow Fly could handle the coffee lol Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $40–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was my first time at this Robert Harris and I was impressed. There was a great range of food at reasonable prices. It was both warm and inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff were both friendly and helpful which completed a wonderful overall experience. I would return as well as recommend to both friends and family as well as anyone that reads this and is passing through Ashburton. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
