Nice sandy beach bar in the middle of nowhere. Food took a bit to get out, but was delicious and worth the wait. We paid in pesos. Always pay in pesos in Mexico, it's easier. Larger boats do arrive and the beach gets full fast during peak season.

This place deserves more attention, it's at the very end of Las Animas beach. It's always empty. The food is good and reasonably priced and so are the drinks. If you don't like crowds continue along the beach until you find this hidden gem.
Pancho's restaurant is at the south end of Las Animas beach. They are new for about two months now. It is an old location that Pancho would like to bring back to it's glory days. Currently it is hammocks, drinks and seafood.
The seafood I had was off the menu fish tacos on corn tortillas. Excellent all around good food. I suspect the fish used would have been in a ceviche if not for my want of a taco. Fresh limes provided just made it all the better.
Ask for a tour of the back plaza and the old waterfall swimming pool. It was all bone dry when I was there but the infrastructure is still amazing. Unsure what caused it to stop being such a grand place, maybe a hurricane?
Pancho is going to be adding cabins near the beach so you can live the life of a remote paradise.
El lugar es bonito a pie de playa, pero el personal es super grosero y se ponen a discutir con los comensales, la.comida tardo al rededor de 1hora en llegar y cuando llega esta fría...
