We had lunch at Didot34 - while the place is definitely nice, the food could have been better. We tried the regular and standard dishes - Caesar salad, burger and some starters. The salad’s dressing was sour, like it had too much vinegar, which shouldn’t even be there. The burger had cold buns that could have been slightly roasted to go better with the meat. So it tasted like different ingredients randomly put together without that final touch to combine them all. It might be a small thing, but it makes all the difference, and, unfortunately, the small things are the ones that matter in the end. I would advise you to look for another place for lunch instead. It is the restaurant of the Slaak hotel. I only had breakfast there so can only say something about that. Me traveling alone never felt an urge to dine there at night. I prefer the city center restaurants. Anyway breakfast is of good quality and eggs, omelets etc are prepared on request. Service is good and staff is friendly and helpful.
