Food is average. It good and there are some solid flavors but very simple. A chicken Cesar salad looks nice but the way the food is put together in plate does not make sense. Chicken is not served with the salad but comes as a side dish? Anchovy is not cut but rather as a whole in the salad. It’s hard to cut in a bowl so I had very large salty chunks of anchovy… We got served the wrong food, so had to wait till waiter got our attention and then wait again for the right plates. We waited forever on our drinks and then got charged to much on the bill. Also we had reserved a table 2 days before hand and when we arrived we had to share a large table with someone else. View atmosphere are stunning and the waiters are friendly but overall not great. Also the lunch menu is a little thin.. and it does not match up with website. The place is quite spectacular right by the ocean with a lovely interior design. Food is very good, not cheap! All the staff members look gorgeous, some of them are sort of polite and most of them are rather useless. Which doesn’t hold me back from coming back here whenever I can! Great interior and style however service let them down massively and sadly food was not up to the standard of the price they charge. Our chips made us quite sick and they were so re fried it was like eating batter and no potato. It is not worth the price they charge we were 60 euro for 2 x sandwich’s, chips and 2 x soft drinks. Nice interior and friendly service, but noisy and hectic inside. Food could be much better, portions are too small for the price. No English menu available, makes it difficult for non-dutch speakers. Beautiful location and awesome looking building, unfortunately service was miserable… We arrived, sat down and were relocated inside because of a reservation that didn’t existed.. None of the tables were cleaned before the next guests came, so my forearms got stuck to the table like a mouse to a glue-trap. We asked to get another table in the shadow, there were roughly 8 available, but apparently all reserved, guess what, 1,5 hours later when we left they were still ALL vacant. Be aware that the menu is only available in dutch which limited our selection to the basic things that we could translate. The food was great, but that at this point that wouldn’t lift our mood significantly Wont return, cant recommend. Go to Zanvoord, you will trade the view for a much nicer service and overall experience in one of the smaller restaurants!

Beautiful, stylish place with the best view to the beach, sea and the sunset. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our kids have ordered the food and went to the beach, to play & jump 🌊 We peacefully enjoyed the wine and starters. Pizza gets baked in the pizza oven heated with a wood and is fantastic. We have repeatedly ordered some starters as they were super delicious. The restaurant is perfect location at any weather as the windows can be opened in full or closed if too chilly. Enjoy! Great venue with delicious food. We went as anti group for dinner tonight and the experience was memorable indeed. Good assortment of snacks, appetizers, entrees, cheeses, and desserts. The view is rather spectacular if you happen to be there during sunset.
