I came to this Fish and chip shop after seeing the insane prices at the wharf. I'm giving it 5 stars as my expectations were absolute rock bottom but I found the fish and chips to be really tasty and exactly what you would expect for the price. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly $5 for a tiny scoop of chips and a 50min wait. I know it's Waitangi day but don't say the wait is 15 mins. No good. After finishing eating and having the hanger fade, the chips were good. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Disgusting is an understatement, Paid $75 for 2 steak an eggs burger 4x oysters 2 x fish 4x broccoli bites and a scoop of chips. 1 burger had a patty ripped into pieces as steak and buns were soggy, the oysters were tiny and definitely weren't fresh and the broccoli bites tasted more like flour than anything else, honestly the worst fish n chip shop I've been to. Brought our conference team through we decided to get the traditional Kiwi fish and chips, spent a lot - for a snack size meal. Worst fish n chip shop in NZ we think . There is no fish and chips option except gor one combo. They have to be bought separately which just inflates thr price. No option for grilled fish. Everything is fried. No salad. I had one hoki and one Gurnard. The hoki was delicious. Gurnard was ok. No tartare or any sauce is provided. You have to pay for everything. Ridiculous. 15.50 for two fillets.
