Fantastic Izakaya. The owner and patrons will show you as much hospitality as possible regardless of how much Japanese you know. There is no English menu, but if you ask the staff or other patrons there for their recommendations (osusume), they will guide you. The grilled salted tabiuo (famous Yakushima flying fish) and the onigiri are amazing. Also try the local Yakushima liquor. Highly recommended, I will return anytime I am in the Anbo area. The owner is very friendly and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable.
If everyone is laughing and you think they are laughing at you, they are not. It is a very fun environment and everyone is laid back. Close to giant red bridge that crosses over Anbo river.
Wir waren im April 2023 da. Es ist anders als alle anderen, aber wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Essen war genau das was wir uns vorgestellt hatten, leckere Yakitori-Spieße und zu einem sehr guten Preis. Der Chef kam auch noch und wir tranken noch zusammen Bier. Sehr herzlich.
