I found everything I needed and wanted in this lounge. True, it wasn’t at all crowded at the airport and lounge (a quiet Sunday morning). One touch I liked that you don’t see everywhere is the collection of books available, on everything from nature to travel to architecture, Māori leadership… (and even fashion). Lots of fruit available - self serve coffee, water and wine. Good amount of electrical outlets. Friendly staff, good light, many plants. A « barista » making coffee drinks, similar to the Sydney lounge. Another perk I haven’t seen elsewhere: the ice cream cooler. All in all, a quite enjoyable waiting experience. I found the airport to be relatively « easy » overall - but it’s winter here (Aug. 2023), so when it’s busy or at be an entirely different experience.
Flew on Air Tahiti Nui but used this overcrowded lounge. Aside from the salad and sandwiches, there was only one hot dish (chicken) that afternoon. Based on this experience, I still prefer the Strata Lounge across for pay-per-use lounge or Priority Pass.

Nice and spacious lounge however it could get busy during the afternoon. Nice selection light snack, fridge is well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks, self service bar and few bottles of red and white wines is available, too. Charging outlet is available in different areas of the lounge. Toilet is well maintained and hopefully they will add more staff to manage the lounge.
had early morning flight, place was quiet. breakfast was ok. selection is ok..some eggs, sausages, and hashbrowns, same thing they serve onboard. the lounge does feature some new Zealand products like the wines and champagne and the kapiti ice cream!!!! that alone warrants 4 stars! there are showers available.

Good selection Shower facilities Ok views Limit3d fizzy drinks
Went in on a Friday afternoon and lots of travelers going to Australia. Can become full house when Qantas flights are close to each other. After flights were called in, the lounge became quiet and peaceful again 😊
Stopped in the morning for a quick coffee before my flight, lounge was nice! There was a small hot breakfast selection, muesli, yoghurts and fruits. Juices, water and coffee a plenty. There was a barista there making coffee as well (which was nice). Definitely worth a relax in if you are in between flights or waiting to board.

Some items not functioning such as toaster, coffee machine. Suggested dress code not followed, such as thongs (jandles) worn by many. Very small hot food offering meant a wait for it to get topped up..okay for a retreat prior to flight, but is a little sub par compared to other lounges.

Very quiet, 6 people in total. Comfy seats in a room with good natural light. Couple of tv areas and a mobile free zone but oddly no space to work (desk style seating) and a real lack of plug points. Useless for business travellers. Food was similar to domestic, salads, sarnies, plus some sad scrambled egg (it was 9am). Small selection of wine on offer and no spirits as before 11am. Compared to other international lounges it was very domestic.
