Such a sweet environment! Really special quality food that stands out. I can tell so much thought went into every detail of this restaurant. And still, it is very affordable we left there very full after spending 100 pesos a person. Most definitely worth coming. Do it!! We came here twice and every single thing we ate and drank was amazing. Fried plantain with cream and cheese for dessert was so good. The pulque natural was very hydrating and nourishing. Our one year old baby was devouring it and just could not have enough. The service was kind and personal. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place is a MUST on your bucket list when you're in Puerto Morelos. Stop in for Breakfast or Lunch. If you've never had Pulque, don't be a fool, just order it. I highly suggest Huarache con Juevos for breakfast. And grab a bag of Tlacoyos to go to share on the beach. High quality ingredients & very friendly people. The Chef/Owner was nice enough to step out of the kitchen and engage with me in Spanish. When he noticed how poor my Spanish is, he kinda chuckled and switched to English. He was patient while I continued to stumble through an enjoyable conversation in Spanish. Very knowledgable in regional Mexican cuisine. A great resource for an adventurous traveler. See you soon, Marino. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stumbled across this place whilst exploring the streets of Puerto Morelos. We received a very warm welcome and provided context and great menu explanations. We tried the tlacoyo and also were able to sample different pulque flavours, which change frequently. Both were amazing, highly highly recommend a visit if you are staying or visiting Puerto Morelos Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is incredible and unique for the area - this restaurant makes only prehispanic Aztec food with delicious ancient fermented drinks. The service is excellent too, the owners are very passionate about sharing their food and culture with you… it’s a very special place, I highly recommend this one! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you want some traditional Mayan food and drinks this place is great. Try the pulque, they have 3 flavors, it is definitely a unique drink. The food was great and a nice change from traditional Mexican fair. Similar but definitely different. Park on the street, but be careful as the road in front is pretty busy. They have an English menu as well. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Really delicious authentic blue corn tlacoyos. The manager was very nice and welcoming, and even spent several minutes explaining the history and specifics of Pulque / Tlacoyos origin. We were able to taste three varieties of pulque and then buy what we preferred. I ordered the tlacoyos filled with fava bean, with cactus/nopales on the top with cilantro, and asked for cheese on the side. It came with two different salsas which was nice. Myself and partners' total bill was only around 200 pesos or $10 USD. I definitely recommend anyone to get a cheap taxi to the Colonia side and try this authentic Mexican food. Amazing authentic delicious Aztecan food, with great vegan options. Different from usual fare, healthy & yummy & generous. Homey ambience, clean and the staff were the best. They even gave us samples of pulque to try! Worth the short trek up the road from the beach part of town. Instant fans. We will be back!!
