In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Museum Bisdom van Vliet, stop by this restaurant. Italian cuisine is well-cooked at Portofino. Try good pizza. We had heard good things about this place, but my margherita pizza arrived dissapointly overcooked. We called and were told "that's odd, I've never heard that before" and were send another pizza, surprisingly still overcooked to the point where the cheese becomes rubbery. My boyfriend (whose pizza had topping and thus wasn't as burnt) and I have better reapective pizzas from dominos in gouda, and dominos delivers a sliced pizza (this place doesn't) and doesn't ever overcook the pizza so much that I, a pizza lover am dislike eating it.
