About
After visiting Lake Wakatipu, you can look over the menu at this bar. Here you can order the Irish cuisine. Have good guinness pie, rump steaks and roast beef at Pog Mahones when you happen to be near it. Do not leave without tasting tasty yorkshire pudding and good apple crumble. The wine list is diverse, it can satisfy the needs of all guests. Don't miss the opportunity to try great hot chocolate, tea or coffee. The gracious staff welcomes people all year round. The fast service is something these restaurateurs care about. Reasonable prices at this place are good news for its customers. You will definitely like the exotic atmosphere and lovely decor. The overall rating of this spot on Google is 4.5.

Definitely recommend a stop here. Staff was super nice and accommodating and the food was really good. Fish and chips was very good as was the chicken parmesan. Atmosphere was very much the Irish bar which was great. We sat inside but they do have tables that face the water. Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Parmigiana
Nice location. Food is ok, nothing special and a bit pricey. But again everything is overpriced in Queenstown, a tourist town. We had fish and chips, and stone grilled meat. Price per person $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Traditional Irish 🇮🇪 Pub in the heart of Queenstown town center. Great food, awesome drinks & a ‘Live’ band almost (I think) every night. Staff are attentive and reasonably priced food & drinks. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pint of Beer Guinness Stout

Had seafood chowder as an appetizer. It's very chunky and amazing. The beef and Guinness pie was out of this world. I highly recommend it. The local beers or roughly $10 NZD a pint which is about the cheapest you will find at a restaurant in Queenstown. Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beef and Guinness Pie

We have been eating our way through New Zealand and this was a great stop. Had a nice variety on the menu so we gave it a shot. Soup was delicious, prawns were very nice and the hot stone with beef veggies and potatoes was awesome. Peppercorn dip was perfect with the beef. Fast, counter/ bar service. Good atmosphere, and glad to see they know how to pour a proper Guinness! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Gluten free bangers and mash with a pot of tea on a rainy day - thank you! My husband enjoyed the beef and guiness pie (not GF) which he thoroughly enjoyed. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beef and Guinness Pie

Simply the best beef and guinness pie I’ve ever tasted. The puff pastry has a nice crust and it doesn’t feel hard like the other pies in NZ that is usually placed on the counter and reheated. Highly recommended to pair with a pint of Guiness. Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pint of Beer Guinness Stout
