This quaint little restaurant at Praia do Carvo is a gem. The menu is diverse, offering a range of incredible options. I tried the 'La Cubana' pie, which was flawless, accompanied by some delicious potatoes. We also ordered a KFC taco, delightfully crunchy and perfectly flavored on the inside. They served a local tamarind compote that was exceptionally tasty. The attendant, who I believe is the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, recommending the most popular dishes with a constant smile. My wife is vegan, which pretty much makes me a vegan… so being on holiday, we are always looking for a decent vegan restaurant. Being in Mexico for the very first time, this restaurant ticked all the boxes. Great food, great vibe, excellent service all with the vibe of being on the outer streets of Playa del Carmen so not lots of tourists. Very good on price too! As a non-vegan, the food was really great! Lots of flavour and really interesting. The citrus pie was amazing!!! We will 100% return on multiple occasions - a must visit for you Vegans! I'm not vegan but enjoyed this meal a lot. This is the Tlacoyo. The toasted sesame and pumpkin seeds on top were a nice touch. Great flavors and left satisfied. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere, surrounded by nature, lovely people, and incredibly flavourful food, look no further! The workers here are very kind and their recommendations are stellar. The tacos are top tier and WELL worth the price. My personal favourite is the Pastor - it’s like flavourful fireworks in your mouth. Honestly, you will be so happy you came here. Just do it! Excellent!! Even if you're not vegan you should really try this restaurant. One of the best vegan meals I have ever had and at a great price. Very fresh ingredients and served hot out of the kitchen. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Went there around 2pm, disappointed they were out of 2 tacos we wanted. The tacos were small for the price. KFC taco was excellent - highly recommend. Other tacos were a bit bland, just didn’t have a lot of flavor, but to be fair they weren’t our first choice. Guacamole with chips was good (but isn’t it always good in Mexico). They provided a big pitcher of cold filtered water for free, that was a pleasant surprise on a hot day. We would probably go back if there weren’t so many other vegetarian options in town. All-in-all it was just okay.

We finally made it here and weren't disappointed. Staff were super friendly joked around and made us feel very welcome even though we had kids and a dog. The menu is full of local goodies with a vegan twist. Food came out quickly and flavours were good with no spice added which was great for the kids but personally I would have loved a bit more of a kick. Kids left nothing behind and are happy to come back anytime. Unfortunately they were out of all desserts but this just gives us a good reason to come back sooner. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

I was grown in Arizona so authentic Mexican cuisine is apart of my palette. Been enjoying the flavors of spice since I was a kid. So I had high expectations for this place and they did not disappoint. *Best*Chili*Relleno*In*My*Life* Ordered it with the barbacoa and side salad. Salsa Macha?? Omg delish! This restaurant turned me onto it and it’s one of my new favorite things. Been twice and the food was amazing both times. I ordered more food than I could eat at once - the portions are big - then took the rest Togo. This restaurant staff are so kind and polite. Amazing service.
