Very nice atmosphere it’s like a bar and restaurant style. The food was great. I think that the curly fries were better than the original. The lamb burger was a whole nother level the balance was there and it was delicious. I definitely recommend that. The pork rib is also a must try. The sweet sticky tangy sauce and the tender pork was great. Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hamburger with Curly Fries

Great variety of pub food and selection of drinks. They also have live music on weekend nights. My group had a great time here. The building used to be a police station which makes the name quite cheeky. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Visited for lunch, warmly welcomed by one of the bar staff and taken put to enclosed beet garden to be seared. Handed menus. Returned shortly after with gold water and glasses and order taken Didn't need to wit long for beverages and food. Huge portion sizes, very tasty. Had a great time here. We had a lovely final dinner in Rotorua at Pig & Whistle on New Years Day. Many places were closed and luckily we found this establishment. We had the paddle board of ciders and beers which was great. Although the prices seemed a bit $$, when the meals arrived, we could see why. Food was tasty and we were very satisfied. Awesome atmosphere and seating area. We had the Loaded Briskett Fries and the Pork Belly Buns which were delicious. The briskett cooked to perfection. A little disappointed that the second cocktail didn't make it to our table, but glad the first 42 Below Mango cocktail did. The perfecr kind of cocktail for a warm summers evening. Huge fan of the pork cutlet, crispy and delicious and so grateful for a good amount of delicious vegetables. Fish and chips was also good, big portions sizes. The clam chowder was ok. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great food, quick and kind service and not too loud for visiting! We had the fish and chips which was totally amazing and the Steak, Ale and Mushroom Pie. Visited 31 Aug 2023 for lunch. Fabuluss service and delicious food in a clean and comfortable venue. Our server was fantastic and extremely efficient and caring. She rocked. Just sorry we never got her name. Loved it and highly recommend to all!! Price per person $30–40
