We had a dinner today. We took our Singapore friends to this restaurant to taste the traditional food of India. Unfortunately the chicken Manchurian was awful. The gravey tasted horrible. The fish we ordered was so dry. The lamb biryani was like sticky and salty rice. It was horrible. Me and my family was so embarrassed in front of our Singapore friends. They were tasting those dishes for the first time and we said this is not the real Indian taste. We won’t go again. Will not recommend to anyone. My family didn’t complain and eat the food without saying a word to staff cause we had guests and didn’t wanted them to feel uncomfortable. We paid the full bill. I am so disappointed and wasted our money in this restaurant. They even surcharge for being public holiday. I regret so much choosing this restaurant. Our first time at Patiala Rocks last night was a very positive experience! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We both thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal items we ordered, with generous quantities and very reasonable pricing. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. We will be back! This cozy restaurant has left the best impression. Hospitable hosts, delicious food, beautiful presentation, wonderful dessert and their very popular mango lassi is my all time favourite now. Quite delicious food. The cheese chilli is to die for. Pair that with a mango lassi and you won't be able to leave anything for take away. So many great options for non-vegetarians as well.
