I heard it was very popular and that the bread was good, well I beg to differ. Bread is pretty basic and definitely not fresh. Some bread is left uncovered, which, in my opinion, makes it hard. The cookies were pretty good, and the coffee is better than Starbucks. I'd go back for cookies but not for pan dulce or bolillos.

Excellent experience! I recommend getting the sweet baked items here - the concha/pan dulce was delicious, and we had the best Oreo donut I've ever tasted, while the tamale & chicken/mole empanada were just ok. The frappe (like a coffee milkshake) & tea infusion (fresh, not too sweet) were lovely. The host even brought over a new product (cheesecake!) for us to sample and give feedback on. The store is very clean and the service is good.
Alright, so I went there yesterday to buy an individual cake for a friend and I must say, this place is overrated as hell. I do agree that the cake that I brought had a good flavor, but you see, it is not as good as everyone say it is... The prices of the bread and cakes are not worth at all. You can find the same bread, bigger and better and a bit cheaper. I do agree that the prices have to be a little high, due to the location, but still, there are bakeries around downtown and zona rio who are by far better. Also, the boxes were almost empty and the place was not clean, the areas were not totally specified. Also, the employees didn't speak english at all, and due to this area, you would expect at least better costumer service. Do I liked? Neutral. Do I recommend it? No, I don't. Would I come back? No, I wouldn't.

There's so many baked goods to try at El Molino's. I tried a few items, sweet and savory, all were delicious. They had a lunch menu that looked appetizing but for some reason they weren't serving anything from it.

I bought about 3 birthday 🎂 cakes in about a month from pasteleria El Molino. It's always a pleasure to buy cakes and all sorts of pantries. It's always so good and delicious that I wouldn't buy birthday cakes from any other pasteleria.
