We really enjoyed our dinner at Parthenon. Everything was delicious and authentic. It's some of the best Greek food we've had outside of Greece! We had salad, feta, Moussaka, lamb gyro, and baklava. We also had a lovely conversation with the owner, who has a Greek husband and we found out they lived in Greece for awhile. That is why the food is so authentic! My first bite of the gyro instantly transported me back to Athens. If you love authentic Greek food, then you will not regret eating here. The recipes are more regional than the ones we have tried in Greece. However, every dish we had was authentically Greek. We were pleasantly surprised and look forward to going back. I was craving Greek food, especially a lamb gyros And I was not disappointed. The pita bread is amazing, so soft and moist, and the Lamb was so tender. And then to top it off, I had the best baklava I have ever had, the fresh taste of cloves and sticky syrup, moist and nutty. The owner, Andres was very charming, and very proud of his food as he should be. I don’t live in Guadalajara, but I do visit there every now and then and when I do, I’m gonna make it a point to stop and get some of that fabulous Greek food at the Parthenon. The food is good, but place is hot, they only have fans, not AC, so I visited at 3pm, it feels the heat of the sun. The service is really good and is clean. The dessert "cookie with chocolate and brandy" so disappointed. Price per person $200–300 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
