Must visit in Slovenia, amazing view of lake, combined with tasty food especially famous desert Krempita. Hospitality is top level, I made a reservation via email, and we got first row to the lake. The best restaurant and café in Bled! ❤️ The waiter was quick and kind, here you can get the traditional Bled cream cake and perfect coffe. Everything is delicious. And the view is wonderful. They claim to be the “Original” Bled cream cake, so felt most appropriate to try it here first. The seating was a bit if a mess (no table management and people fighting over tables with a view), but the cake was nice (though I wouldn’t say amazing!). Worth trying as it’s the local speciality.

Original Bled cream cake is a must try! Easy 10/10, would eat it again for sure! The price is pretty high, 6.5€ for one serving, but the quality is non negotiable. Besides from the famous Bled cream cake, the ice cream at this place is one of the best I’ve ever had! As a tough ice cream critic I can say that pistachio is in the top 3 I have ever tried! They have a flavor named “no1 ice cream in the world” which is really nice, creamy, nutty with chocolate and cinnamon, something crunchy and raisins. Very interesting and tasty. The price of a scoop is 2.6€, and for a “no1 ice cream” is 3.7€ per scoop. Reasonably priced considering the quality. Definitely would come back! The prices of beverages are ridiculously high, for example a cup of tea is 4.5€. We stopped at the restaurant for a light dinner and dessert. Great place to have drinks by the lake with a nice view. However, not so many options if you want to have a proper meal. Fish was nice. But probably does not worth its price. Bled cream cake was delicious. It was created in the hotel. So must try it here! They also offer nice combos like cake plus a glass of wine. However, drinks felt really little. As you can see on the picture, this is how much it was served.

The cream cake is puffy and delicious with perfect sweetness. The staff in the cafe are super nice and friendly! They give me a very nice window table with great views of lake bled and bled Castle. The lady kindly helped to look after my backpack cuz I was on a solo trip and went to the lake directly from the airport. Restaurant and cafe with proper food or sweets and drinks. They had live music outside or it's possible to sit inside as well. The famous bled cake was decent. Best to get there for sunset as you will have nice views of the castle / lake. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Visited on a rainy day and managed to get a seat indoors by the window with a decent view. Very generous portions! Goulash was hot and delicious. The Caesar salad was also not too bad, but at the bottom was a pool of milky water which was a bit off putting after a bit, especially as it left the croutons very soggy. Of course whilst in Bled, had to order the famous cream cake - it was very nice but I didn’t find it particularly mind blowing. I wouldn’t mind having it again, but there were lots of other dessert options available which looked really good.
