This French bakery is really appealing and has a unique Japanese twist to its pastries. The hot chocolate is especially amazing - rich and delicious. It’s a great place for anyone who loves a mix of French and Japanese flavors.

My fiancé and I stopped by this adorable café on our way to the ropeway. Upon entering you’ll be greeted by a marvelous display of cakes, loaves, danishes, bagels, sandwiches, and everything in between! The smell of freshly brewed coffee will waft over you, preparing your tastebuds for what lies in store.
The staff are friendly, quick, and speak a bit of English (pointing to what you want in the case still works just as well as it does stateside).
My fiancé got a chocolate croissant and I had the lemon cream danish. It was amazing! Perfectly soft, flaky, and tart. The coffees were rich and balanced. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area as a wonderful stop-off during a walk around Lake Kawaguchiko. We will be back!

One of the most amazing pastries ever! Its located at bustop 7 along the red line. So many variety of bread and pastries with many locals queueing. I can't make made up my mind which to order. Nice and relaxing ambience to enjoy my coffee and pastries will definitely visit again.
Wow!
Finding a genuine French bakery in a very unexpected location.
Once we viewed the contents of the display cabinet, we were rather keen to wait for the doors to open at 8am.
We were not disappointed, and my daughter (now 26) declared it was the best Choc-almond Croissant ever!
The other baked products were also exceptional.
Do yourself a favour and go to this cafe.

Nice French Bakery. Went there for Breakfast.
Had Bagel an Croissant, as well as coffee
Bagel and Croissant was good, not special.
Although we ate inside, coffee was served in paper cup
We ordered jam and butter for the breakfast (as they advertise in their flyer) .. none was available, the lady referred us to a whole jar of jam, … and no butter at all
Strangely, through the open set up, we could look into the bakery and saw chunks of butter.. why they don’t wanted to sell a small piece for the Bagel remains a mystery.
Also, we wanted some toast, which was not available, although we saw quite a lot in the bakery. Same story, why a bakery won’t sell their own made toast to a customer, remains their very own secret
Overall, way overpriced and for a French bakery, very low level of service
Two stars because the staff was very polite and courteous
One of the best bagels I've had - chewy, perfectly thick, amazing for the prosciutto and cream cheese sandwich they make. Pastries are mixed sweet and savory, have a great flake, and there is a fun variety of french classics along with types you don't normally find in the west (eg bean paste and butter, melon bread)
Sweet staff and a tempting selection of bread and pastries. There is lots of seating in a warm interior with, large glass walls that makes it spacious and bright. Had a lovely time. Thank you!
Great place for a pastry or sandwich. As a French person, I can certainly vouch for the quality of the pastries.
It's also really interesting (and delicious) to see how French pastries are combined with Japanese traditional sweets!
