Great place to get some upscale local food in Valladolid. Nice fromt restaurant with garden back area. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the local sausage. Wasn’t suce much on my other dish which was a locss as l speciality but I found it pretty flavourless. Service was pretty slow but very accommodating to our special needs. We ate here as part of our excursion package and they know how to pick the best place to eat! This was an adorable restaurant with amazing service and the food was EXCEPTIONAL! Everything we tried was melt in your mouth amazing! I highly recommend trying the queso with chorizo, the guacamole and chips and the pork! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Like many others we stopped here as part of a tour. We had a private group so it was just the 3 of us and we arrived a bit before the large buses typically hit the area. The food turned out to be amazing. We sampled several of the dishes family style and I HIGHLY recommend the Chile Relleno - it was by far the best of the selections. Tamales with red & green sauce were good, a local aztec based soup was very good (spicy), and the steak, while decent, was our least favorite as the cut of beef was a bit tough. The guacamole appetizer was also very good. My wife and I were introduced to "green juice" (Chaya) here, and while every restaurant has a different variety, this place made it with sweet, over ice, and with a bit of lime. Absolutely delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Overall I'd gladly return here for another Relleno and some of their green juice. Very highly recommended. Beautiful interior and friendly service. The food was incredible - wait, even better than incredible! Fantastic, delicious, amazing. I could decide if I liked the guacamole, pumpkin seed dip, enchiladas, empenadas, or tacos better. I was so full after we left! The green juice was yummy, as was the margarita. Charming restaurant opposite the Convent in Parque de Sisal specialising in Yucatenan food. Very welcoming staff. Menus in English and Spanish. We arrived at lunchtime without a reservation and it was busy - always a good sign. The inside dining area has a/c and unfortunately there were no free tables inside. We got a table in the courtyard and they kindly set up fans to keep us cool. Also offered to move us inside when a table became free but we were happy staying outside. Delicious food! We had the sopa de limón, cochinita pibil and tacos de arranchera - all beautifully presented and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Valladolid. Stopped here for lunch during a tour of local sites. Our tour guide called ahead of time to have our food ready. They were able to prepare many vegetarian dishes for our group, and everything was delicious! Wonderful service. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really tasty food. Specially the Sopa do Lima and the regional platter. Worth a visit. Slight negative: we didn’t think the chocolate sauce and cream worked with the caramel flan. Ate here on a guided tour. We had cochinita pibil and longaniza de Valladolid as our mains with the guacamole and chips and a slice of flan for dessert. The guacamole was a highlight for sure -- so creamy and delicious, and the chips were fresh and warm without being greasy. The pork was tender and juicy and delicious as tacos.
