Stopped for lunch here at our guide's suggestion; it's such an unassuming little place we'd never have thought to stop here ourselves, but it was great. This is a gorgeous place to stop to eat between wallawaya and thanamalvila. I had the best Sri Lankan rice and curry here and great fresh juice too. The owners are friendly and it’s nice to sit on the deck in the breeze and eat lunch or have a fresh juice. Well worth a stop.

Genuinely the best meal I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. Would never have thought to stop there but our taxi driver recommended it as a great stop for lunch. We weren’t disappointed. Had only a juice and a coffee which were awesome, but the food looked delicious as well! A great pitstop with extremely friendly service. Cute restaurant with typical local food - all you can eat style. And really GREAT! Dhaal has perfect level of spice 🌶 🤤 Next... You have to try lake fish! Btw. super clean toilet there! 🙌🏽
