Overgrown is an ideal spot if you need a safe space where you can work while doing some munching on the side. Accessible and easy to locate, it’s typically flooded by customers, which can attest to the level of service they provide. Their peanut butter smoothie bowl (?) is the ultimate bestseller, and you have to try it to find out why. Plus points for keeping my phone charger when I left it plugged there. Brilliant place! The best smoothie bowl I have ever had and that's a big statement! Cold but not icy, smooth and delicious. The Spanish latter was absolute perfection, the milkshake was tasty and filling. My husband had the jalapeno sandwich and loved it. The cinnamon roll was soft and fluffy. We stumbled upon this cafe walking from our hotel and needed up visiting three times. They do an amazing cappuccino! Plus for me was they have milk alternatives. Coffee was excellent. Smoothie bowels were large and filling. Home made carrot cake was delicious. Very reasonable prices. Fine place, though I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it again (perhaps because I didn't have the smoothie bowl, it was sold out by 2pm). From all the cafes in Alona area, I think they have the highest rating here in Google Maps so we had to try their drinks. We ordered their Spanish Latte and Iced Chocolate, both are good but nothing special. The cafe is small and cozy. They have wifi and outlets. We’ll come back again to try their food. Simply where we went to eat breakfast every day rather than in the place we stayed. Simple. Good coffee from a good machine and barista. Outdoor can enjoy my morning cigar. Best smoothie bowls I have ever tried. My absolute favorite cafe during our stay in Panglao. Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our group of 6. The coffee was perfect and enjoyed all the plants.
