What a wonderful restaurant we stumbled upon! The atmosphere is second to none and the service was just wonderful. We enjoyed a delicious white wine that was recommended by our server... Along with the Slovenian meats to start and the seafood platter to share for our main. The food was extremely tasty and full of flavour! Pretty good food but not for these prices. A large selection of fish and other seafood. You get a free starter: bread and white cheese cream with an olive. Lake Bled greeted us with rain & Ostarija Peglez'n gave us a feel-good home cooked meal! We had the fish platter & it was delicious for sharing. Fish was crispy as you bite into it without being oily. Calamari & grilled squid were tender & seasoned well. The best surprise was the vegetables with their flavor borrowed from the sea itself. The food was amazing but there are no words for the kind service! Especially with our dog! She was given treats and water immediately! The atmosphere of the place is very nice and cosy! If you go there try the trout! We also had the soup of the day (broccoli) and the truffle pasta which also were delicious! We will be trying this place again! Very pleasant and kind stuff, they surprised us with complementary cake for my wife’s birthday. It was very nice from them. Restaurant is located nearby the lake, with lot of colorful and diverse trinkets and decorations and beautiful garden. Very big and tasty food. I had the seafood risotto and they were kind to let me order a half portion, which was plenty of food for me and left me satisfied! The risotto itself was the right texture (not over cooked) & had great flavor! I got lucky and found a table, but I think it’s best to call and reserve ahead of time!

Delicious typical food, you can taste fresh fish of the lake expertly cooked (we had seafood risotto and the trout fillet) and very good meat. Also the desserts are a must. I liked the place for its easy going staff and very fast cooked dishes. I took 2 times fish, was cooked on a grill. 2 times I paid about 25 Europe’s for all meal and glass of wine. ☺️ check it out. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
