Staff were very polite. You could see they were stressed due to lack of hands on deck. Ordered surf and turf. Mashed potato was like that ready made stuff from the supermarket. Burnt prawn, like black. Medium rare steak was well chewy. You can see they were trying but for what you pay food was pretty poor. If you were order something fish and chips would be your safest bet. Hopefully this is helpful and improvements can be made. Staff were still lovely! Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

We actually had a private function in one of the rooms. Very accommodating and friendly staff nothing was a problem very attentive team. Thank you so much Onerahi Tavern. If you are looking for a hall to hire or a place to be, call in and see them so long as they are not busy they are accommodating or give them a call you won't regret it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Barmaid was absolutely rude! and looks like she dosnt want to be there was more interested in watching the TV than doing her job rule number 1 in hospo "don't be rude at your customers" not a good look for the Big O shame to be spoilt by the Barmaid!

Will be heading back again...old school type of tavern with what appears a really active social club going by the blackboard with darts, pool and a handle club! Decided to try the Onerahi Tavern for a leisurely Sunday avo lunch but unfortunately the chef wasn't due until 3 ... A toasted sandwich wasn't what we were after but the beer was cold and friendly team behind the bar! Just a few getting a bit of practice before the Sunday pool club started. Decor a bit dated but that's part of the appeal. Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Classic kiwi pub 👌 no frills, clean and tidy, good basic beer range as can be expected. Lovely bar staff and friendly local patrons. Pool tables to boot. Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great local watering hole. Great way to chillax while being on a week's break. And so close to home. Service awesome. Best advice for local spots around the area and further afield. Check it out. Highly recommend. Good Ole fashioned pub experience

Friendly local pub. Staff were lovely. We stopped in after my Mothers memorial service and was good just sit down a relax for minute. Comfortable spot easy parking at the big car park.

#LightTheWorld, 5k per hour is the name of the band, but they make it shorter 5k. Rock the night way, good music friendly people. Food yummy, power wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly.
