I recently visited a cute restaurant inside the music art museum and had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the museum, and there are live performances, so it's essential to check the schedule before entering the restaurant. The ambiance is quite charming and complements the museum's theme.
The restaurant only offers a set menu, with four options to choose from. I opted for the Sukiyaki set, which included a salad, the main dish, and tea. The set was reasonably priced and provided a decent amount of food. The quality of the food was good, especially considering that it was inside a museum. The Sukiyaki set was well-prepared, and the flavors were well-balanced.
The service at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was attentive, polite, and accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed and checked on me regularly. The service added to the overall experience, making it more enjoyable.

Lunch visit sitting outside with a dog. Nice calm atmosphere outside. At lunchtime only a limited number of tables have seating with adequate shade due to the sun angle (we got one that had shade).
Another review mentions there’s only a set menu - that might be true in evening but not at lunch. We had bone-in chicken current (mild butter chicken like taste; would have preferred more spice but nice and rich), lasagne (pretty good, more sauce than meat), hamburger with Japanese sauce (no hard bits in the hamburger). All came with a salad which had a nice tangy dressing.
Decent food overall and nice setting outside. Inside seating too is ok if you don’t have a pet and there’s no shaded seating outside.
Also has ample parking.

Great cafe. We actually came here twice as we missed the desserts the first time we went there. The strawberry parfait and strawberry milk was delicious! My parents had the cake set and they thought it was tasty as well. The surroundings are very nice as well. Also this is a small thing but we loved how the staff closed the windows during rainy weather from the outside instead of closing them in the cafe, as the tables are right next to the windows in the cafe. That is very considerate of them.
Nice little cafe next to cat theme gift shop. With nice weather, it’s better to sit outside with nice view of Fuji.

This cafe has the best view of the Mountain, which should be obvious, because it's the closest to the lake. The food here is meant to be italian inspired. We had the cod roe potato pizza and the salmon tortilla. I would only recommend the pizza if you eat here, but honestly don't come here for lunch, come here for coffee. They have very good coffee, served in beautiful porcelain and it's exactly the right place to enjoy a cup of joe with a view that stunning. Also, they have an attached gift store that's cat themed (turns out cats are loved in this area - big win for me).
A lovely little cafe, has a big patio with lots of chairs and umbrellas, perfect for sunny weather, close to the Music Forest Museum and the lake. I had the Strawberry Yogurt parfait which was ¥880 and a iced coffee for ¥300. The parfait was tasty, sweet strawberries and syrup and ice and icecream with the sour yogurt was well balanced, the coffee was on the strong and bitter side but worked well with the sweet.
We had a plate of cakes and a yoghurt strawberry parfait. Both were very delicious. The plate of cakes provided a good mix of various small cakes and the parfait has very good yoghurt and strawberry ice cream. The service was nice and fast.
