I have been travelling all over Slovenia and this is the best bakery so far! Surprising as this town is in general more expensive because of people visiting the caves and castle. Reasonable prices and very good quality. The portions are big but not stodgy so not full of cheap fillers. I had a cheese burek and a lovely filled chocolate pastry. The shop also has locals queuing up, always a good sign! And the guy who served us was really helpful translating everything. Stop at this bakery even if you are only passing through!

Ne uspijeva imati tako dobre kifle kao "Noć i dan" u Banja Luci tamo su definitivno najbolje (u B.Luci pekaru drži njegov brat)

Burek is delicious and for 2€ you get a huge portion. The place is just a bakery - no place to seat. So recommended to pick up and eat on your way up or down!
