Everything was fine except with kids the location does NOT absorb any sound and amplifies all kind of yelling and talking and you have to yell at the person next to you to hear them. Don’t go here if you want to relax or aren’t used to more than 20 kids in a room. :) Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

Pros: - Beautiful patio & playground Cons: - Pancakes were really thick and burned. (See photo) - Service quality was poor. Half of the table finished eating when the other half got their food. - Coffee was extremely bitter. I bet it was from an automated machine that is not well maintained. - They refused to serve tap water and also didn’t have big bottles of water. A glass of water (200ml) is €3. They charged us €27 for less than 2 liters of water. It may be a nice place to have a beer while watching kids play but I wouldn’t come here again otherwise. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30

Tried to visit this cafe today prior to our visit to the War Museum and waiter told us it was a private function and we could not enter. There was nothing stating this was the case and plenty seating available.

Very good, polite service, would really recommend to go and try there pannekoeken , all 3 off us enjoyed the pannekoeken today. Great place Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Good tasty food and friendly waitress, sitting outside in the sun was fine too
Went here for lunch (kids wanted pancakes) and back for coffee after visiting the war museum. The interior is dominated by clocks and not all of them seem operational so telling time is a little hard (but that may be on purpose). Staff was friendly and quick to bring out our drinks. When a mistake was made with my food order this was quickly resolved without any debate (I know of more than a few restaurants that could learn from them) I had a burger, the rest of the family had pancakes. No complaints from anybody. My burger was medium well as requested, one nice bun with crispy fries and some veggies. In the afternoon we enjoyed what little sun was available on the terrace with a coffee. Here also the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

We had diner after visiting the museum. Nice atmosphere. View onto a Sherman tank, yeah :) We ordered the french mustard soup which was marvelous, the xxl toast with camenbert nuts and honey (delicious) and some ice as desert. Prices are good, staff was very polite, friendly and gives good recommendations. A full five stars.
