About

Our story begins in Christchurch with the opening of Monsoon Wedding in 2011 & Shortly after opening, the restaurant was demolished in the February Earthquake. After a long 10 years wait, We are re-located to lincoln with hopes of serving delicious food.

I'm originally English, have eaten Indian food for over 60 years, and worked in India for 3 years. How can anyone give this restaurant a one-star rating? Very strange. We just ate lunch, great food, great staff, pleasant restaurant. Recommended. It will be our regular go-to for Indian food from now on. 5 stars. Please support this new restaurant in Lincoln. Take done for dinner last night was recommended by a friend and it’s definitely 5 star. Highway style chicken, Gobi Manchurian and dal makhani was really tasty and service as well was good. if i could go there very week it wouldnt be enough. its the best indian food in nz as far as i am concerned. the staff are friendly and know me by name, sure it took them a few meals in order to get it up to my heat standard ( the sort where you keep the toilet paper in the freezer) but hey now have it spot on. abdul the owner is a very friendly and hospitable buy as is his son and the rest of the staff. food is always perfect. Had lunch here yesterday and the food was absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. Service was great and this will certainly be on our go to list when visiting friends in Lincoln . All meals include rice and naan and an extra bonus of roti while we were waiting on our meal . Couldn’t fault it . First time but won’t be our last . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
