We loooooved this spot. We walked in and they told us they’re slinging natural wine which immediately impressed us as we only came for the adorable decor and beautiful view for sunset. We had three dishes - all amazing. There’s no menu you get served omakase according to preferences. We have a ton of conflicting restrictions in our group which they worked around. The vegetable taco served in a Swiss chard leaf did all of our taste buds and bodies miraculously. Also beautiful cocktail program - I often find Paloma’s nice but a bit simplistic to order at a bar - the one here is perfectly balanced.
I would absolutely NEVER RECOMMEND eating here. The whole dining experience is a mess and disorganized.
The time you select for your reservation doesn’t matter because they choose to open the kitchen whenever they’d like. We had a reservation for 7pm, upon arrival we’re told the kitchen wouldn’t be ready for another 30 mins, and then didn’t receive our first dish until 7:50pm.
Cost of a single pasta dish - 500 pesos. Didn’t taste like anything. Most expensive dish I’ve had in Mexico so far and I’ve been to far nicer restaurants.
They market themselves as a “Japanese” fusion, but there is nothing Japanese about this place other than the word “omakase”.
Feel free to try at your own risk, but I wish I’d just walked out after ordering a beer and went elsewhere. Ended up stuck here for 2.5 hours and left extremely disappointed. Save yourselves the time and headache.
Horrible. Did not get served while other people who came later got served before my table. The chef was also the waiter who along with the rest of the staff ignored our table. The restaurant is family owned, the wife ignored us while the husband said he would come back to take our order but never did. When we left, the wife’s excuse was that they were understaffed. We would be understanding of that, except for the fact that they served multiple tables before us, and we left after 1.5 hours and they still didn’t attempt to take our order. Hospitality is not valued by this restaurant. We wanted to support a family owned business and even had a good time chatting with the four year old daughter. It is sad that no sincere apologies were given for the waste of time we had.
I’m not used to let review but this restaurant totally worsts it. Nice people, really good food (probably the best I had in Mexico) and beautiful setting. Thanks Luis and all the team.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We waited for an hour and a half and none of the staff asked for our order. We alerted them about this three times throughout the night and no one really seemed to care or do anything about it. Meanwhile, all of the other patrons were being served and attended to. We wanted to give the restaurant a shot because it was family run and the food seemed good, but left feeling extremely upset at the way we were treated.
It's overpriced for how desorganized & amateur the experience is.
They talk about organic and local ingredients, japanese &Mexican fusion, but the japanese aspect wasn't there, they told us that they "couldn't find fish" today in the whole town so the whole meal was vegetarian, and we only learned we'd have vegetarian dinner when our 3rd course.
Quite disappointing as I was hoping to enjoy good japanese inspired food.
Nice selection of wine, good view for the sunset, food was well done. I felt Maria’s passion for the food and mezcal. Bonus: you can buy some nice wines to go.
