I walked past and was captivated by the window display of pastries. Decadent and enticing! Came in and couldn’t decide, so ordered a mini Carmel cake, which was divine, and cappuccino plus a box to take away. Such a great find! And the staff spoke English and were very helpful :)

How could you get this simple recipe wrong? .... Mika Caffe found a way ...
The 2 Aperol Spritz ordered were basically un-drinkable, both flat with no bubbles, I suspect no dry Prosecco was used and perhaps some sort of cheap sweet wine, then served in a small wine glass - The Aperol Spritz was half the normal size and 1-3 euros more then the other restaurants in the area . The French macarons were actually good but as soon as I realized I just spent about 6 euros for 3 small macarons the size of bottle caps they quickly turned bitter. Insult to injury, all this for mandatory 10% gratuity directly charged on the bill - What a disappointment -
Some simple advice for anyone that may visit Mika Cafe , continue walking a few more minutes to another restaurant in the area, chances are you find a better experience and if your pleased , leave a 15-20% "Non-Mandatory" tip.

Service is relatively slow. I would appreciate if they would react faster or at least would somehow show, that they saw me and want to serve me.

Downright amazing pastry and coffee. We came here for our afternoon coffee 3 days in a row, trying different pastries each time - none disappointed.
Highly reasonable pricing and tasty food on the regular menu as well. We tried the mushroom pasta and caesar salad - both of which were spot on!
From all the restaurants on the promenade, this is definitely the best place to go for breakfast. They make really big fresh sandwiches with lots of garnish and also offer nice desserts. The atmosphere is also great, especially for those who are looking for something more quiet.

Mika Caffee is a very fine, cosy place, well organized and customer oriented, with advantage to have within the team, top experienced Lady, the waitress Mika. We were served by Mika couple of times in so respectful, professional manner, with kindness and subtle politeness, that we really highly appreciated. Looking forward to come again.
