This place is the most authentic Argentinian/ South American cuisine in the Miura Peninsula. It’s a cozy Mezcal / Tequila parlor with an abundance of great liquors and Spanish foods in a small Japanese neighborhood. It is not the American style of burying your plate in wet beans and rice. The flavorful food made here is nothing short of AMAZING! It’s the perfect date night destination. Mezcal Love is definitely a place we will return to over and over again!
Excellent tacos and guacamole. I ordered the guacamole with chips, the three Mexican tacos of pollo, beef, and carnitas and those were great. Then I ordered the seafood tacos and they were different but still tasty. I loved the look of the place and ate upstairs on one of the couches with a window that overlooks the marina. The manager, from Argentina, is very nice and friendly and loved explaining where they get their mezcal from and how well it pairs with food.
If you’re in the area this is a great place to sit and relax with friends. Fast service, great views from the second floor, laid back atmosphere and cool hosts. Eiko is Argentinian by birth and willing to converse in English, Japanese or Spanish!! It was great to get some practice in. The food is made to order so patience is a must, but everything was worth the wait.
one of the best mexican restaurants i’ve visited in japan.
lovely and friendly owners.
authentic and affordable tacos!
fast and good service!
a good place to eat and chill after exploring jogashima island… :)
will definitely go back here…
really good! I had the nachos with dip and the mexican trio & al pastor tacos. the beef and pork were my favorite, and the nacho dip was REALLY good. salsas were flavorful and nicely spicy. service was great and the second floor has a nice view of the water. there are English menus available
A most excellent authentic taco joint. The most authentic one I found in all of Japan actually. This is a very small hole in the wall but it's nice that they also have a second floor with a great view for couples. The spot is easily miscible if you're driving so you'll have to park somewhere and then walk to it using Google maps
