Very pleasant and quiet restaurant. Every dish was presented with utmost attention to detail and quality. Highly recommend the cheese platter for 3 people as it’s full of tasty Italian cheeses and hams which are great when combined with the honey. The main course duck was cooked perfectly with an addition of a great sauce. The breaded steak wasn’t much to my liking but there was nothing wrong with it.
The owner/chef was very nice and helpful while ordering. The restaurant has a reasonable choice of wine however, nothing exceptional.

My partner and I walk passed this place daily since we moved to Zebbug and we were really looking forward to trying it. Finally had time to make a reservation and we were really disappointed. While the presentation of the food was brilliant as you can see by the photos, it was extremely bland and just didn't have the flavours we expect in Malta. The meat wasn't seasoned either. When we arrived, we ordered Hendricks and tonic (€6 on the menu) which was very small and the tonic was a bit flat. It was also NOT Hendricks. When we questioned this, we were told yes it wasn't and that it was actually Bombay. As a gin drinker, Bombay has a very distinctive taste and again it was for sure not Bombay Saffire. Chances are it was a bottle of plain Gordon's. This was also poured in the back with the bar out of sight so you never actually know. Overall the prices were too high for what we got as well, especially for the area. Staff were friendly and helpful though. While it wasn't a bad experience, it wasn't great either.
If you fancy a relaxing evening, maybe a date night and you want to treat yourself or that special someone, I fully recommend you to try Mennula bistro. It's an explosion of flavours , each dish done to perfection from the tender octopus, to the homemade ravioli with that divine zucchini sauce , I could go on and on. Also note great service.

Our best food experience in Malta, only fresh product in this place. The chief is really attentive and give you a taste of a mix between Maltese and Sicilian cuisine. I only can recommend it 😁
Had a lovely meal here for my last night on holiday, very quick service, food was incredible, perfectly cooked with great flavours and accompanying sauces, highly recommended if ever visiting malta

Delicious food ...a family run restaurant...the owner is the Chef he takes the time to explain each course and it's evident his love for food. Everything is freshly prepared with ingredients that are in season. We were a table of 5 people with 3 of us having special dietary needs...each of us had a variety of starters, main and desserts and all of them were unique and delicious. Highly recommended 👌 😊

Fantastic food - we had a mix of oysters, meat (duck breast) and pasta dishes, and dessert - and excellent service. The wine recommendation - a subtly ruby red Mascalese - complimented the food well. Finally, excellent value. We will definitely visit again.
Our experience at this restaurant is more than a positive one and it's menu offers a good selection both in starters and main dishes. Menu is changed periodically and the service has also improved substantially. Prices are reasonable and we'll within the norm. The chef is the proprietor and takes a serious interest in satisfying his customers and goes out of his way to even prepare dishes that may differ to the menu. Overall it's a place that offers a satisfying experience.
