When we arrived there by Google maps we could not see the waterfall and had only arrived at the parking lot for the mençuna restaurant. Later found out we have to climb A LOT of large slippery stone stairs to see the waterfall. Spent 15 minutes climbing stairs and did not see an end or a peek of water . Didn't get to see the waterfall and came back. Not recommended if you don't like stairs also in a very humid environment. Although view from stairs is nice as it goes through the dense green forest. Road is terrible, construction going on heavy vehicles trying to pass on a narrow gravel road.
Very beautiful place. The stairs are a little bit steep but it's totally worth it. Don't forget to bring your swimming suits because you can swimm in there.
Hidden within secret valleys near Arhavi, Artvin, Mençuna Waterfall is a nature beauty to be seen. Taking the main road from within the Arhavi city center, after passing the historical Double Bridge (Çifteköprü) junction, turn right and follow the Kamilet Creek for about 5-6 km before having a 20 min walk on a beautifully made trek path to rich the wander, a 90m waterfall among high cliffs. Enjoy the water shower or have a swim on the small pond if you dare. Had to do it in summer. No chance... By the way, do not miss to stop by and enjoy the real dark blacksea tea at the nice tea place run by a family, where you start/end walking the path. Goes well on your return. Mmmm, delicious...
Fantastic place
High Waterfall marrow not wide but wonderful.
The road to this fall not bad two way road until before the fall 20km you will find yourself in one way road .
You have to walk almost 1km in little mountain to reach to the incredible view.
