I had to try it to compare the taste between the US and NZ McDonalds and NZ Mcdonalts(MACCA) wins. Also this location has a beautiful decor inside of the indigenous Maori culture. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff here are seriously out of work. I ordered at the kiosk and typed 76 to wait in my seat. I couldn't come even after waiting for a long time (ab 20 minutes). When I went there, only some of what I ordered was in a takeout bag, and there was no coffee or water bottle. It was ridiculous. I was waiting at seat 76, and when I asked if this food was mine or not, he asked if I had ordered anything else, and i said i ordered a large flat white and a bottle of water, so he finally made me coffee.😤 and then he asked me again what size the flat white was.😤It's embarrassing. Not only me, but also the other guy was complaining. There seemed to be a lot of employees inside, but not a single one was working properly. The fries were cold, so they were not good. The store was very messy. Everyone go to Burger King!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Extremely big McDonald's. Very clean huge car park. Airconditioning was extremely cold though. Food came out fast. Also has some very interesting Maori carvings all over the place. Would recommend if you are in the area and wanting some food fast in a clean, large and interesting building. Where the McDonald's is situated in Rotorua it does not have a resounding sulphur/rotten eggs smell like certain areas of that town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been to many McD's around the world, and this is one of the coolest, with it's Māori woodcarving designs. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Good food and Service, however I didn't like being hounded by some dodgy looking people at the end of the drive thru for money. I did not feel safe. I locked my doors and windows. I know of several other people like myself who want go back until this stops due to feeling unsafe. Why don't you put up signs to discourage customers giving these people money. New Zealand vacation day 4- came to McDonalds for a quick breakfast before heading out to see the natural geysers. Not our first choice, but glad we came by. This locations decor and atmosphere was amazing! Lots of tribal Maori art. Staff was very friendly and everyone smiling. Was great to see. Food was good as well. We noticed that the soft drinks were not as sweet as ones in Canada. A good thing! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staff need leadership in the kitchen. It seems the young folk in the kitchen are disorganised and slow. I ordered one coffee that took 20 minutes for me to get, even then it was cold. All orders were prioritized to the drive thru and there were quite a few of us inside waiting a while for our orders. The food we got from the drive through was barely warm. Chips were stale and barely had salt on them. The coke cup was covered with coke outside and we didn’t get a straw. Our order was somehow marked with a bonus fries, but the bonus fries was not intended for us, not sure what’s happening here. Food: 2

Staff need to clean the tables, had to use baby wipes to clean the baby high chair and table to sit and eat our meal. Rubbish bins were full, no one attempted to clean up which is disappointing, toilets were disgusting also. Need to up your game with cleaning.
