A nice place and friendly staff but possibly a bit under staffed during there rush hours as there have been a few mistakes in the take away orders recently, but if we spot it before leaving the carpark they are very helpful and correct it. today i was in mcdonald’s with some friends like usual just getting food talking etc. during our wait for our food we had a disrespectful lady come up to us and start accusing us of vandalising, vaping and being disrespectful to the people around us. We let her say her things and then asked her to leave us alone but she refused. after a couple of minutes of her basically yelling at us she went to go get a manger who also took her side of the story and would not let us get our food delivered. we soon got our food after arguing with her and she asked us to leave which we did then she proceeded to say not to come back to mcdonald’s today or ever. Why do you have a kids playground and signs up on doors saying baby change facilities available when you don't have a change table? I waited for 10mins wondering why no one came out then a staff member unlocked door for me to discover no change table inside! So we had to pack up our food and go look for one! You need a sign on the door!

The place is located on a retail park near a junction. Entering the place can be quite confusing. especially since the road can be busy during rush hour. Service was really good. There is plenty of parking, toilet facilities and plenty of seating. Drive thru also available. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

The very tall young man working today 18th Nov 2023 wiping tables and trays mopping and dust roll floors checking and emptying rubbish bins over and over did an exceptional job the whole restaurant was spotless, McDonalds young folk like him are very rare well done to you young man your hard work was noticed by myself thank you very much AAA+++++ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best place to have breakfast in between the road trip from Christchurch to lake tekapo. It has a plenty of parking options and many more store near by. WCs are clean and tidy. Usually busy place around 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A special thanks to Mc Donald’s for having kids happy meals 😉 ! It makes trip smoothly with kids having in the cars 🚘.
