My husband and I enjoy crossing over to tijuana for some yummy vegan food we've tried many, hands down mazon is the best we have tried so far. Everything taste so authentic and delicious 😋. Happy cow needs to come visit them and put them out there!. We really enjoyed the vibe we can't wait to come back.
Amazing vegan tacos! I was so happy to find vegan tacos while was in TJ. The Birria and Ensenada tacos were very delicious! We'll return next time I'm in town!
Honestly, I'm not even a believer that it can get better than this place! Not only the best of the vegan Mexican food, but the best of the best vegan food I've ever had and at least as good as any non-vegan food I've had. Though it's been a couple months since my time in Tijuana, I still have daydreams about the "a la Buffalo" and the Asada con queso. Honestly, I can't say I've had better tasting tacos, even when I ate meat.
Unfortunately tacos de vapor where rotten. I understand those types of tacos are delicate but you can’t miss the smell. Ordered other tacos as well they where served cold.
Awesome vegan food. My husband and I ordered one of each tacos. Absolute favorite Asada and Baja. Ensalada Brasileña was also delicious. Couldn't get enough, got two orders of tacos to go!! The place is also open and airy in case you're worried about covid19. Visited from San Francisco, will definitely come back.

So far I have only tried three items off their menu, but will definitely be returning for more. The first was the Ensenada taco: a cauliflower tempura with the fixings of a fish taco... the "chipotle crema" was very good. Second, was an asada taco made with gluten, perfectly seasoned and delicious! To wash it down, a Mangochi kombucha, tried it at the Veggie Fest, and LOVED it! I can't wait to taste the rest of the menu!

Taco de birria(Vegan) was good. Their hamburgers are delicious and so are the home styles potatoes. Pricing is not expensive either. They also have vegan cookies :) parking is not a hassle.

I am traveling here in Tijuana with a friend who is vegan and finding places for her to eat has proven to be difficult. Most of the places we have sought have been closed despite their website info or their Google profile. It's frustrating. I have a hard time finding food but I can always adjust for dairy but she can't. Yesterday we spent 1.5 hours walking around in circles without success for a vegan restaurant. The first night we got here we came across Mazon Vegano, a cute cafe that is tucked into a residential-ish neighborhood. The atmosphere is casual; the decor simple but eclectic, pretty much love at first sight. The outdoor cafe features the “restaurant” portion, a coffee house, and a small natural health and beauty shop. Each are independent. The menu changes from day to day but both days we ate here I was able to get wheat/gluten free and also vegan. Tamales seem like a regular staple and they are so damn good that yesterday I ordered four as well as three gorditas. Stacy feared they would think us piggies for eating so much but I figured they should enjoy the Americans who kept asking for more and more. =) Nina and Daniel who work the food portion of Mazon Vegano are friendly, patient, and welcoming. Nina speaks VERY good English. Toshi at the coffee are (Kopi House) also speaks great English. This made for ordering easy, it also allowed me to get a 24 ounce Mason Jar of coffee. You may not think anyone needs that but I do. I love coffee, I call it ‘joy juice’. Nina wrote down exactly what it was I was eating so I could correctly note it on my travel photos and add it to my travel journal; she also knows English well enough to write it all out in perfect syntax. The place is open 11-6:30 Monday through Friday. I'm unsure if they have weekend hours. The seating is limited but accommodating. I recommend you bring bottled water if you are going to want it with your meal. There is a bathroom available, very well maintained and clean. Be sure you ask for their tomatillo and hot sauces, I found them both delicious and mildly spicy. The tamales are to die for not to be missed. Highly recommend you take the time to seek Mazon Vegano for a meal!
