Best dive bar!! Legendary Texas tea. I was raised on peach tea and the Peach Texas Tea is so tasty! Service is awesome. They have pool tables! Great ambiance and all around smiles. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fun neighborhood bar with eclectic decor, friendly bartenders, great cocktails, beer on tap, and large TVs to watch a game. Also has dart boards and a pool table. Patio with seating out front. The owner, Al, can tell you about the interesting history of this long-time Houston favorite. You can park on the lots to either side of the bar. Attire is casual. Eclectic mix of clientele...which makes for a fun atmosphere!

The Marquis II is a jewel of a neighborhood bar that our group visits every Wednesday night. Our favorite bartender, Taylor, takes great care of us. Al and his team know how to run a fun and friendly place with a nice local hangout atmosphere. The food truck outside provides a nice assortment of choices for barbecue and also conventional bar food. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love this neighborhood bar! I moved away from Houston, but when I lived there I loved going. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and always a good spot to catch a game on TV. I also loved playing darts, card games, pool, etc. You can be a local here and that’s pretty cool. Haven’t found another place like it yet! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Super chill place, great spot to hang out and drink. Very chill and laid back ambience, and BOMB "Iced Tea". Compliments to Al and the team. Plenty of space to sit down indoor and outdoor.

Great neighborhood bar! Everyone was friendly and the staff was so accommodating! Texas Tea was amazing and my husband loved the cold beer. Highly recommend!

Marquis II is a neighborhood bar with alot of history and is filled with regulars most days. The bar is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There are a few TVs, pool tables, and board games to entertain you while hang out. It's kind of an old school bar. Wooden bar, high bar chairs, old school liquor display behind the bar. It's a throwback and a bit classy. With that said, the classy look and feel doesn't come cheap. The drinks are a bit more expensive, but I think the laid back atmosphere is worth it. There is no food available inside the establishment, but you can get ubereats or door dash delivered or randomly there is a food truck in front. It's an independent bar, not part of a chain. Employees aren't wearing uniforms, it's a different vibe from a Twin Peaks, or Buffalo Wild Wings. It's not for everyone as it's a more quiet, mature vibe than your average sports bar. I like it, but I can see how some may want a bit more energy in their local watering hole. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
