We were visiting from the UK and stopped here on a day trip from Vilnius. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and beautifully presented. Service (in excellent English) was friendly and quick and the views over the lake are stunning with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. We loved it so much we stopped by again for a drink on the way home. Go and see for yourself. This place helped make our day really special. Highly recommended.

Markizas is conveniently situated along the lake near the Krakai Castle. It offers a terrace and garden view with tent overhead. Large tables w benches accommodates large groups easily. Traditional Lithuanian fare and drinks. We visited during early September and the weather was perfect to dine outside. There is inside option as well. I wasn't won over with the kibinai. The pastry was heavy and dry, and the filling bland and in need of something for taste.

Great place to eat. The food is very tasty and the staff is nice. If you are near this place or in town you should stop by for some tasty and good food.

I was very disappointed about this restaurant because of how well it had a rating, here was quite a big problem to communicate in English, and there was a minor misunderstanding when I asked about chicken skewers if it would be with some vegetables and I got the answer that yes, it would be grilled vegetables while I was served cucumber and tomato, another thing was that they brought the main food together with the soup at the same time, so when I finished the soup the main food was already cold, I felt from the lady/student as if she was forcing to do something she didn't like or better said she didn't have the nice pleasant approach to customers ... the only positive was the nice view of lake galvė

I ordered a salad, and it came without a dressing. The service was really bad, they are not attentive. I would not recommend eat here !

Good location and service, but šaltibarščiai, kibinai (lamb, pork, chicken&mushroom), sprandinė - terrible. If you want really tasty kibinai avoid this place.

This was a really great cafe/restaurant experience. After we were done walking around the castle this restaurant was in the perfect place for us. The waitresess were very nice, there was a kid meniu, but I personally really liked banana pancakes. For only five euros it was served with chocolate and orange slices. The location is perfect at day time, but towards the evening it's getting dark and the viev is not that good. Food is nice. Location is perfect. But only single one toilet room it's not enough for big place like this. People stand in line about 5-10 minutes to get to small and not clean toilet🙄. Non-costumers also using it.

Food was delicious, cheap, and came out just a few minutes after ordering (was not busy).
