This is the original "Mi Capitán" location. We were in the area and decided to stop by, expecting to have an equal or better experience than "La Barrita Mi Capitán" but we had a completely different experience. The service and food are much much much better at "La Barrita", so much that we just left with the food, gave it away, and then ordered take out from "La Barrita" instead. Maybe a bad day at "Mi Capitán" but we are just sticking with "La Barrita" for the future because they never disappoint. This is the best sea food (Mariscos) in Mexicali, Mexico B.C. The food is amazing, the service is second to none. You can eat like a king and everything is so affordable. Be sure to ask for tacos de machaca de camaron. They are delicious. Try the chili relleno de camaron. The fried shrimp and tostada de ceviche is so amazing. Another dish that is delicious is Camaron a la diabla.

It was delicious,usually, I don't like seafood places because I feel like they all have the same flavor after a 2nd or 3rd dish. I ordered a Mariscada for 2 and it had alot of variety of seafood for 2 adults and 3 kids we weren't able to finish the whole thing. The best sea food in Mexicali for people who have high standards on flavour and freshness of the food. The best coctail and ceviche (de chechela) of the town accompanied by a cool beer.
