Tasty food and wonderful atmosphere in Be-Tulum Hotel.
Nice Mexican cuisine in this hotel.
Enjoyed the vibe and the sound of ocean while having our breakfast.
Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

My wife and I stayed at Be Tulum (the parent hotel) for a week during our honeymoon and came back for another week the following year for my birthday.
The atmosphere at Maresias is relaxing, serene, beautiful, and peaceful compared to the crowds, chaos, and noise just a mile north of the hotel.
We’ve only been here during the low season (June) so the seaweed has been everywhere on the beach — but the hotel has the seaweed removed multiple times a day, making this stretch of the beach one of the cleanest on any given day.
The staff at Maresias has been very helpful, attentive, and extremely friendly. They remember our names every day, and have always given great recommendations for things to do in Tulum. (They even remembered our names when we came back a year later!)
The prices are normal for a luxury hotel on Tulum Beach, which is on the expensive side, but breakfast is included with the room so we normally just pay for juice and (a giant bottle of) sparkling water.
Don’t listen to the reviews about expensive cocktails — all the cocktails are $300 MXN ($18 USD as of this writing) so you’re not paying much more than a bar in NYC or SF.
We have loved the food, specifically breakfast (the chilaquiles with green salsa is divine) but don’t forget their housemade habanero salsa either. And if you’re celebrating a special occasion, they go out of their way to decorate the room with flower petals, a dessert to share, and even a bottle of something nice.

A view difficult to beat
Great food options, tacos were on top of flavour and tastes
Great service even if a little bit slow for the dessert
Overall very good price vs quality
Went back at night, either live music or live dj (well adapted to the place)
Cocktails too pricey (way too much)

My friends and I are here after visiting the spa across the street. We ordered appetizers which were fine. I ordered the hamburger. When I cut into it, it was raw. They assured me they would fix it but the second burger was also raw. I told them I was fine and wouldn’t want to try anything else. The next day my friends and I became extremely ill. We were diagnosed with salmonella poisoning which was probably from the chivche.

During our stay in Tulum, we ended up coming to Maresias for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The food is delicious for any service of the day. The staff is very attentive, caring, and professional. The view over the white sand beach is amazing. I can only recommend this restaurant for anyone coming to Tulum and the Guadalupe area. Thank you so much for such great experiences.

I was here in January of 2021...When it comes to beachfront restaurants in Tulum, this has to be one of my favorites. The ceviche was amazing, the shrimp tacos are addicting and full of flavor. They combine regional and exotic flavors in their foods, and their drinks were also probably one of the best I had in Tulum. We had a cabana on the beach, looking at the Caribbean ocean...nothing can beat that. The service was also fast and attentive, which is something to note in Tulum.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant. My boyfriend and I came back to this restaurant daily because of the fantastic views, service, and food. 10/5 stars. And AMAZING staff. Carlos Ramirez was our server multiple times. They really work as a team here and go above and beyond to make your experience comfortable and easy. I have an allergy and Carlos remembered and addressed it during each meal to make sure I was safe. He had fantastic recommendations and there was never a “no” to any of our questions, but rather suggestions of how they could accommodate. Every member of this restaurant was welcoming and friendly, greeting us with a smile as we passed by. THANK YOU!
Beautiful breakfast spot. We stayed in a hotel ~7min walk away. French toast and (this sounds silly) frappucino are highlights. Huevos divorciados were great. Bf loved the hash browns. The scenery is spectacular and plenty of shade. Music not too crazy, so peaceful morning was locked in here. We were here isln slow season so very few people around. Walking through the hotel/bungalows was a highlight of visiting the restaurant too. They have Paolo Santo burning nonstop and it's a perfect fit. Go here. 🏝️❤️

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. My partner and I had a great dining experience for lunch.
I'm not sure what folks' expectations are. I expect everything in Telum to be "overpriced", and this restaurant is no outlier on that. About the same as most restaurants in this area. That said, the atmosphere was really great, and the service was too. Our ceviche and drinks were delicious and I highly recommend the mango and coconut dessert. I try to get what grows locally when I travel, and this dessert reinforced why I continue to. I can't speak to dinner, but I expect most folks would enjoy lunch here. We were fortunate enough to go on a Friday and caught a great DJ, playing a worldly, hip and mellow set. Toda la experiencia fue muy agradable

Staff is great. The food is simply amazing!
The music is really pleasant. Don’t leave without having the Pastel de Duche de Leche as a dessert.
Strongly recommend!
