The Italian salad stood out as one of the finest salads I've ever tasted. It boasted freshness with its combination of mozzarella, olives, and tomatoes. The Mamma Special Pizza was also delightful. However, the $45.00 bottle of wine listed was disappointing. The wine selection was quite limited, leaving little variety to choose from. Despite this, I would revisit solely for the salad, as it was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, and the food was delivered promptly.

I can see the effort in making the pizza, but the base was too thin and crispy, and the quality of the ingredients was below my expectations for a 4.5 stars restaurant.

This spot has the tastiest wood-fired pizza in town! The guy making them is a wizard in the kitchen. We just love every bite of those delicious pizzas. Definitely a go-to place if you're into awesome, mouthwatering pizza!

It was very pleasant experience. Food is delicious and service we received is a deserving of 5 stars. We didn't have to wait for long although we were 13 people who were dining. Atmosphere in this place is typically Italian, cosy with very nice Italian music softly playing in background. We highly recommend this place if you are visiting Rotorua dinner at Mamma Rosa Restaurant is a must.

food was great, 4 and a 1/2 stars. Pizza was well cooked and the salad was delicious. Waiters were very friendly, especially ‘Tarun’ who came running to us in a crowd 500 meters away to return a phone that we had forgot at the table! Amazing service and food, would highly recommend.

I wish I could say anything different as the manager was friendly and the place looks like a cute authentic italian restaurant, but we had the Margherita pizza and this doesn't taste anything like what you can get in Italy (or an Italian restaurant). It tastes like standard American pizza. The crust, the cheese, the sauce, nothing tasted authentic. Also, the restaurant was empty and it took almost an hour to get our pizzas.

OMG what an amazing establishment. Honestly the best pizza I've ever had in the 85 countries I've visited. Love the thin crispy crust and the freshest ingredients. The staff are very friendly and polite. Btw, I had the Quattro Stagiori pizza and it was simply the best 👌. They also have vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Love the place n food .. very authentic taste . Love the bruschetta and the pizza, the bread is so fresh n yummy and pesto is to die for! I love the food . Have been coming since 2 days in a row. A must in Rotorua!!! Love love it

One of the few places that was open on christmas day - Although they did add a surcharge of 15% for being open.
Even though we did not have a booking they made sure we could get a table 30 minutes later, overall the service was good.
The pizzas for 3 people did not come at the same time and our starter was brought out after 2/3 people already got their main course. Taste was good even though the Pizzas were really oily. Drinks were not delivered in glasses but in cans.
Our stay wasn't too bad until we saw a cockroach running to our table from the bathroom. At least they agreed that this is a problem.

Delicious pizza and the salad was great too if you're looking for something fresh. I highly recommend getting anything with their pesto on it, very good!
