Really amazing food and ambience. Especially liked the tacos and the appetizers. I had the pork belly taco (perhaps the best taco I’ve had), octopus taco and vegan taco. It was the best food we had in Tulum. Will definitely recommend this place! Nice little resto bar that was recommended by our hotel staff for a legitimate Mexican dish. They're a bit fusion style but the taste is good. I would recommend the aguachile , nobody can't get that wrong though. The prices are a bit on the higher side and the servings are just right hence I kicked one star off. The staff was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the aguachile and if you like strong alcohol taste a few Mezcal because they have great products, not just drinks. We had the place to ourselves on a quiet night and still had a blast thanks to the great staff who took time to educate us on Mezcal and were very friendly.

This was the first place we ate on our trip and we were not disappointed at all. The space was absolutely lovely, the service was impeccable and I had the best porchetta of my life! We also had the cheeseboard, roasted potatoes ( GET THEM) coconut shrimp and octopus. Everything was Steller. The watermelon Mescalita was divine as well as the Paloma ( my personal fave). Our group of 6 had an amazing meal at Mamazul! The restaurant was a bit hard to find at first but the place is beautiful. We had a variety of dishes that were excellent and the presentation is very creative. Favorites were Tuna tartare, octopus and ceviche. Desserts and drinks were great. If you ask whether I had the best short rib of my life - for sure not. But all dishes are very well decorated. I tasted a few Mescals, which were tasty to. The place is stylish and the dinner all.over was a pleasure.

Okay let's start with the problems. The service... We had the wrong food that was sent back and also the wrong drink. That was really an issue for the experience. The owner was so sorry and explain us that he faced some issue with the personnel. I would just recommend to use bloc note for the orders that would avoid all these issues. But on the bright side we showed up at 8 pm when the restaurant was fully booked and yet got a table .... Thanks to the owner for that. The owner an Italian from Milano, lovely very nice and enjoy talking to him in Italian and Spanish. The food. Yes the food is the best food you can have in Yucatan. I am pushing.... Not at all. The slow cooked ribs with 3 moles are insanes. The Tuna was so good. Yes the food was great. The small desert at the end was just the cherry on the top. Highly recommend. The cocktails were clever, well made nice presentation. The the passion for Saturn is definitely a desert ... But so si so so so so good. So yes I would recommend the restaurant. And I really hope for an improvement of the service. That would push the restaurant to one of the best in Mexico!!!
