The food is okay but too much oil is used when cooking. The service is very bad you only see your waitress when they bring you the food and the bill. They will hang out by the bar and gossip if you don't call for them. Prices are expensive for the Philippines full tourist Beach Resort prices. The views are amazing you're sitting right on the water this is the biggest reason I would choose this restaurant. Also they open early between 5:30 and 6 a.m. so if you need coffee early this is the place I would recommend. However they give you powdered creamer and white sugar with gourmet coffee prices.
As I was taking an early morning walk along the beach, the aroma of fresh java beckoned me like a temptress. I found myself pulling a wicker chair up to a bamboo bar. The coffee came first. A latte- Creamy and full of body with flavor which would make a Starbucks barista weep with joy. The gentle rocking of the waves on the beach served as a sublime backdrop to a simple but savory breakfast. The eggs were fluffy and firm, the bacon crisp and tender. This was the perfect breakfast experience to start my day at Alona.
