Fantastic dinner and service. We were staying in the hotel and were looking for somewhere for dinner and luckily we decided to eat at the hotels restaurant. The butter chicken was fantastic and we got lucky with mushroom soup on the menu for entree, one of our favourites. All of the meals were magnificent, definitely recommend if you are stating in Te Anau.
A very good restaurant in Te Anau. My kids ordered the Seafood Chowder for appetizers.. one of the best we’ve ever eaten. The Lamb Shank, Venison Striploin and Beef Tenderloin are also good. The service is also highly commendable. Thank you for a lovely dinner.
We had a very wonderful dinner tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. They even surprised him with a slice of birth day cake. That made the day extra special. Food was delicious. No wonder this place is recommended. Thank you very much for a great dinner.
We ordered steak. It came with rock hard beetroot. Grisly, fatty steak which we found extremely tough to cut. It was very difficult to pay $39.50 for this meal. The saving grace was a small pie on the plate and the service which was outstanding.

Fancy, stuffy, expensive, but not very good. The lamb was dry, and the duck thick with fat. The venison was tough and the table knife dull, so that only vigorous sawing made it possible to cut.
Traditional Elegant Dining with Great views of the Mountains and Lake Te Anau
Sehr gutes Essen, sehr aufmerksames Personal. Alles gut!
Boa comida e bons drinks!
