Beautiful views, friendly & helpful staff. The three course meal was fabulous with good portions & reasonable prices for beautifully cooked and presented food. I would have liked them a bit warmer but it wasnt bad at all. Good vibes, Cozy atmosphere. Would love to visit again. They do have upstairs for functions. Great service and delicious meals. Fully booked on a Tuesday night but still served us full meals at the bar and we enjoy a Keto way of eating but absolutely no problem adjusting the meals for us which were delicious. Slow cooked beef cheek for one and Harissa lamb rump. Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While visiting Dunedin, we were treated to dinner at Luna. What a fantastic place. The views to the coast are breathtaking and the food was excellent. Everything on the menu looked like a winner. We ordered rib eye steak, fish and chips, a big bowl of seafood chowder, Wagyu burger with caramelized onions, chorizo and spinach fettuccine (the special), and a vegetarian risotto. Did I mention that every dish was excellent? We'll be back when we're back!! A good restaurant/pub a short walk from the CBD. We had a lovely view from our table overlooking the city and out to sea, really quite pleasant. Of course, the view isn't the whole experience and I am pleased to say the food delivered, both our meals were lovely but the beef burger was delicious! If you are looking for a restaurant just outside the city center with a view, aswell as a good range of food, this place is a good choice! Not many tables though so I would recommend booking! Great views but average food. Tried the lamb and brûlée from the set menu. Lamb was overcooked and very hard to cut through with the butter knife that was supplied for the meal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $60–70 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This review is a bit late. Our walking group had a Christmas lunch & were given an upstairs table. Friendly, smiling & very efficient service of delicious food. We ordered a good variety of different meals and all were thoroughly enjoyed. Great value for money. Interesting range of drinks too. Various members of my family regularly eat at Luna and it is consistently excellent. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $40–50
Great view, good service but disappointing food. I ordered big breakfast and it was not big comparedto other restaurants and not presentable. The taste were standard and the bacon was too salty. I also ordered smoked salmon and you can see in my picture how it looks. The management are welcome to improve and I can change my review if improved.

Lovely location and great view of Dunedin though parking is a bit of a pain. We ordered three mains and three desserts. While every dish was well portioned and flavoured I didn't think it was anything spectacular. The food was solid and safe. A good place for a family meal or a date over looking Dunedin.

Dinner on Wednesday night, what a lovely evening. Booked a table a couple days in advanced, for 2x people for 7:30pm. Although the place was quite full upon arrival, it did not feel overcrowded, but instead felt cosy. We were greeted by a friendly waitress. All the team there were friendly. Both the service and the food was on point. Did not have to wait too long for food. Had a decent view of Dunedin city. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would definitely go again😊 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Unpleasant experience brunch in this restaurant. The food was under our expectations. The smoked salmon looks not fresh and messy presentation, also the Big Breakfast, as you can see on my picture, the tomato and mushroom looks mushy, salty sausage, and again very bad presentation. They forgot to put the hasbrown onto the plate and they gave us separately. The portion of Big Breakfast wasn't present as Big Breakfast should be. The bread taste not toasted. When we paid, the staff asked us how was the food, and we said we were disappointed and she has no response of it. Well, they really should more sensitive with customers and care about the services. Not only selling the view. I wouldn't go back there anymore.
