Came here to have a coffee & a small bite. The banana bread was delicious, and the coffee hit the spot. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff remained calm and friendly. Highly recommend for a great vibe! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve had all of my breakfasts in Hiriketiya in this lovely coffe place! Really great place for coffee and food, nice music and atmosphere ! Really recommended! The staff are super friendly also, really good people 🫶🏻 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Treated myself to a lovely brunch at Locos - the flat white was delicious (I find all western style coffee is done very well in Hiriketiya) and the granola bowl was very nice. Around £7.50 for both, so more expensive than local options. The guys were very busy but the food came out quickly and I enjoyed reading my book here. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person Rs 3,000–3,500 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really nice place, food is really good for breakfast or lunch, their granola bowl with curt is amazing, and the smoothies really good too. The service is really nice and friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person Rs 5,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Delicious food and very friendly staff! We enjoyed our morning here! Definitely recommend :)
Delicious food and nice staff. Highly recommended for world/eu type of breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Would really recommend this place for breakfast! They have good coffee and use fresh products for their dishes. Something was out of stock for the dish that I ordered and one of the employees went to get fresh mushrooms from the market! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person Rs 2,000–2,500 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
AVOID AVOID AVOID The manager has some serious anger problems. He was slamming around behind the counter. Menus are on wooden boards and he was slamming them down on the side and shouting at his staff. This is a very small openplan place and that behaviour is far too unacceptable. We were sat on the breakfast bar right next to the counter with our backs to the counter so this made us quite nervous. The place has a cold, unfriendly and inefficient atmosphere. We went in to get brunch and drinks. They didn't have any juice or fruit to make smoothies, juices etc. The menu and drinks menu is very limited. We ordered an iced coffee and asked them if they could make an ice tea as they have hot tea on the menu and have ice. They agreed but then served us hot tea. I reminded them it should be iced to which they started to argue and just talk over me. I asked for a refund to which they said to wait for another person to come from outside which we did and he just walked past us and started serving other people. We asked for the refund and they tried to say we couldn't get one after waiting to speak with him and said they would make an iced tea which was basically putting steaming hot tea into a glass of ice. The service would have been laughable if it wasn't for the threatening behaviour of the manager in such a confined space. After failing to make the simplest of drinks for a coffee shop, lack of customer service and lack of options we just left what we had paid for and walked out. Not before I told them that it was unacceptable to be slamming around in a very aggressive way right next to customers. I'm Mancunian and we're not meek and mild people but I have never seen anything like this before and told them they wouldn't like it if I started throwing things around and slamming next to them. COMPLETE RIP OFF. The restaurant named garlic cafe next door has lots more options and an extensive menu and fresh juices all at a fraction of the cost. The photos I have added are from garlic cafe right next door that will not rip you off, steal your money or make you feel uncomfortable. UPDATE - the owner has just replied to my boyfriends review with an outright lie. Saying they have everything on the menu, he is overseas and has checked the camera and no one was slamming around. This is untrue. We would never tarnish a small business, lie or try and hurt any Sri Lankan. This country has been through many problems in recent years and we as guests to this country have nothing but love, respect and kindness in our hearts for this country and its people. I will not have the owner try to make out this is a personal attack on them. Outrageous the amount of bad spirit can come from one place in such a small amount of time. We must have been in and out this place in twenty minutes. To the owner if you wish to reply I am not a liar your staff/ manager are inefficient, rude and uncooperative. Your staff agreed to make something they didn't deliver and then kept our money. As well as say they didn't have any fruit, juices and smoothies. All I can say is bad karma will come in waves if this is how you treat people Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
