The best little bagel shop in New Zealand (probably the world). This friendly and welcoming team craft some of the most delicious gourmet bagels you can imagine, as well as simpler ones with cream cheese or spreads. My favourites are the Great Gatsby (add a hash brown!) and the Stuart Little. The coffee is good and there are a variety of other beverage options for the non coffee drinkers too. The cafe is beautifully renovated with a homey feel, and as well as the many indoor tables it has a range of good outdoor seating options (and a couple of blankets for the cold days). Dog-friendly, kid-friendly! Hands down the best breakfast or lunch spot in Whanganui.

Yum yum yum!
Tried their bagels the other day 😍 other than the large bagels that a choc a block full of stuff and can never be finished, their bagels are the perfect size, taste amazing and look adorable! The Cesar salad one is yum for a healthy lunch and the Nutella is great for breakfast. Would always recommend as a first choice for breakfast.
They also do coffee, tea and some other fancy types of drinks
Seating area is comfy and there is room at the back for the perfect study space for students doing assignments

Awesome little cafe, with the best and friendliest vibes. Food is divine and their baking goodies are on point! Also used them to fuel my bridal party for my wedding day with their mini bagels - perfection.
Easily the best little cafe in Whanganui! Left with five pieces of cake to go 😆 If it’s quiet, make sure to ask about the history of the place as it’s an awesome story from the lovely owners Grace & Joel.

A very cool wee spot that I'd been recommended.
I had a very tasty coffee while relaxing in an armchair that may have once belonged to my grandparents. I feel like I could have sat there all day and enjoyed the nice atmosphere that this place creates.
Hats off to the staff & owners

I had the hot chocolate here, friends of mine had a cappuccino and a coffe with ice cream. They rated their coffees with a 5/5 however, my hot chocolate was not the best. Amazing atmosphere and beautiful decor.

What a beautiful wee cafe with an awesome setup. I had to pop in and check it out while visiting Whanganui. I have been following Grace & Joels' journey through instagram from the beginning and seeing all the delicious looking food posted since being open. I purchased a scone and chocolate brownie take away and they were both absolutely delicious. Will definitely head back to grab a coffee next time im in town 😊

Two of the best bagels I’ve ever had, and the coffee was on par with what you’d expect from a cafe. Looking forward to coming back again!

A friend took me here, only to find 4 other friends of mine were here and come on a regular basis.
The bagels ranged from yummy little snacks to meal-like portions.
Absolutely delicious.
I had the full breakfast, ending with a slice of chocolate cake and Mocha.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Plenty of rooms to sit down and eat.
Only off- putting thing was the toilet right off one of the dining rooms
