My family and I tremendously enjoyed our dinner at Legligin. We had a 7-course dinner (45 euro per person) with a wine pairing (40 euro per person).
The food and the wines were delicious. All of the food and drinks were local to Malta, and they were very well done. Highly recommend.
On the flip side, I was expecting a wholesome dinner experience at this price tag, with personal and memorable service. Not to be misunderstood, the servers were checking all the boxes: checking on us all the time and explaining the wines and the dishes. But, it lacked personal attention and a unique experience.
Again, the food was really delicious and servers did more than a proper job! We were very happy and we would highly recommend.

What an experience at Legligin! 😍 They offer only one menu for 45 Euro per person, but you can ask for a vegetarian version and you will be surprised with an amazing selection of vegetarian maltese dishes! Each bite was a surprise burst of flavor. The staff's warmth and hospitality made it even more special. Thank you for making our evening magical!

Simply excellent! The seven-course dinner costs 45 euros. It's not modern cuisine, it's not fine dining, it's simple traditional Maltese cuisine. A very pleasant evening, we felt comfortable. The portions are the right size, make room for all the food. I couldn't single out any dish as the best, everyone at our table had their favorite! Our only regret is that there was no clam soup that day. We ordered all three desserts that were on offer that day, also very tasty! Reserve a table many days in advance!

Jumped in at the last minute, the restaurant were we booked was forced to close due to technical issues.
9 years in Malta, and I never had such good experience, set menu with fixed price, but totally worth it ! Owner and waitresses are so kind and nice 🥹, food is great, with some dishes you feel like to be at home on Sunday lunch with grandma 🥹😭….Wine list is the final cherry on the cake !

An overall amazing amazing experience. Great selection of wines. Amazingly priced tasting menu with a good mix and array of food. The space itself is cute, low lit and bustling so it gives you a great environment. The staff are very educated in what they bring out and are trained amazingly and attentive. I will come back, it was an absolute pleasure dining here. (Also they do fundraisers for Ukraine as well as other good causes)

The dinner was amazing. Best restaurant I have eaten during my stay in Malta. They only serve the tasting menu which has 7 courses. I get to try many local dish and I went home with a full stomach. I especially like the soup, octopus and the pasta!

I was anxious about not knowing exactly what I could be served for dinner but pleasantly surprised to enjoy every course. The staff was helpful, attentive, and super knowledgeable of local wine and food. My only regret was not having room for more.
The rabbit pasta was one of the best dishes I’ve ever been served.
We noticed some guests near us asked for no fish in their courses, although this limited their options the staff was helpful and still gave a multi course meal to their liking. I recommend, even if you don’t love fish, to try all of it. The octopus and white fish was one of the best courses.

Such a great evening with awesome food! We found this place in the guidebook and were eager to try it out because of its exciting concept. And it was more than worth it! For all lovers of good food who like to be surprised: this is for you! For dinner we got 7 courses of Maltese cuisine, without knowing beforehand what dishes will be served. We chose the right wine accompaniment and tasted 7 different Maltese wines. It was simply delicious! It is asked beforehand about intolerances and preferences (vegetarian, etc.) and the menu is adapted accordingly. The service was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself is very nice and quaint. An insider tip: Go to make reservations in person, we were allowed to choose the table at which we wanted to sit. Highly recommended!

People working here are amazing!! They made us feel very important and just it felt like home. Food was very good, the best cheesecake we’ve ever tried, it’s definitely worth going here, everything was extremely fresh and just delicious. The prices are incredible, I will definitely be back.
